Due to the pandemic, Former president Barack Obama gave an inspiring speech online to the class of 2020. This speech gave me hope and guideline for life. Below are some highlights from the speech.
Our Society, our democracy only work if we are not just thinking about ourselves, but each others. The world is up to us!
Don't be afraid. Each time we get stronger. We learn from past mistakes and do things better.
Ground yourself the values that last. Honesty, Hard work, responsibility, fairness, generosity, respect for others. Listen to the true self even it is hard or inconvenient. People will notice. They will gravitate toward you. You will be part of the solution instead of problem.
Build a community. No one does big things by themselves. We have to do it together. Stand up for one another. Set the world on different path. In so many ways, you started to lead.
Congrats to class of 2020! We are leading this world together.
